World Mental Health Day is observed on 10th October every year, with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilising efforts in support of mental health (World Health Organisation). This year we are delighted to launch a new video about one of our current research projects, True Colours, to mark this important day. In the video, Dr Amy Perry explains what taking part in True Colours involves and why is it invaluable for improving our understanding of mood disorders. Viewers also have the unique opportunity to see True Colours in action. Ultimately, we hope that the launch of our video on World Mental Health Day will not only increase awareness about True Colours and the ongoing work of BDRN but also of mood disorders in general.
