BDRN and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust

Professor Lisa Jones showcased some of BDRN’s research at a joint seminar between the University of Worcester and the local NHS Trust, Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust on 11th November 2016.  The aim of the seminar, held at the University of Worcester Arena, was to strengthen links between the University and Trust.

Lisa said, “This was a wonderful opportunity for BDRN to foster collaborations with clinicians from our local NHS Trust – the overall aim of BDRN’s work is to understand more about the causes of mood disorders and to improve treatments for patients, so having clinical input into our research programme is absolutely essential.  The day was a great success and BDRN will now be holding regular meetings with clinical colleagues in the Trust”.
